I am a Flint, Michigan based designer and artist, most recently I was the Global Creative Director of Art and Graphics at WeWork in New York City.

As the founder and creative director of WeWork’s in-house environmental art and design team, I worked to lead, coach, and define the creative output of a global team of creatives who found themselves somewhere between contemporary studio artists and environmental graphic designers.

In early 2021, I partnered with my longtime collaborator, Joe Geis, to launch the independent creative studio, Also Dept.

In my personal practice, I have over 10 years of experience expressing brand through graphics, image making, art, typography, and environments. With no specific focus, I’m most interested in telling the stories of contemporary culture across all mediums and disciplines. I like to make little distinction between the rigidity of brand systems, the loose making of photocopied zines, or the curation/creation of large scale public artworks. My experience across design, branding, strategy, and curation allow me the flexibility to bring all of these practices together to find solutions to any number of creative problems.
